Indonesian presidential election, 2009: Yudhoyono in the lead..

for the second time, Indonesians are going to elect their president and vice-president directly. In the first direct presidential election in 2004, Megawati Sukarnoputri lost it to Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono. And in 2009, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono is looking strong in holding his present post despite the opposition from the present vice-president Jusuf Kalla who is contesting for the president post this time.. The survey results are changing time to time, but the changes are only in the percentage of majority but not the candidates.. In all the surveys in this year, so far Yudhoyono is far ahead of his competitors.. those in the top row are contesting for the president and those in the second row are contesting for vice president. Their names, parties and the results of the recent opinion polls have been provided in the same order..
