President Obama and Energy Secretary Steven Chu announce several actions that will promote energy efficiency and save Americans billions of dollars per year. The announcement includes major changes to energy conservation standards for lighting, as well as $346 million from the Recovery Act that will accelerate the development and use of energy efficient technologies in commercial and residential buildings.
